The Fayette County Sheriff Office will host the 3rd annual Domestic Violence Vigil on October 17th at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Fayette District Courthouse. The theme of the event will be “End the Silence”. Stories of domestic violence survivors and community leaders dedicated to stopping domestic violence will be shared. The event will include family-friendly activities and provide light refreshments. Along with speakers, there will be live musical performances. Any member of the community will have a chance to speak during the open mic session held. Counselors will also be in attendance to help with any individuals struggling to process the emotions of the event.
